1.1 Sr. Art-Buyer/visuals research Consultant Cossette Communication Montréal, Canada
- Planned and implemented the creation of a new art buying department for Blitz Data, the promotion and direct marketing division of Cossette Communications.
-Provided photo, illustration and video research within worldwide stock libraries and other sources ; support for concept development with creative teams; usage rights clearance; fact checking; and trademark searches.
-Selected and commissioned photographers and illustrators for assignments on various print and web ad campaigns for major national clients such as GM, Bell, McDonald’s, Bank of Montreal, Molson, Dairy Farmers of Canada and Metro. Scouted , recommended and booked appropriate talents such as models, stylists, hair and makeup artists and set builders. Provided casting and location scouting support. Negotiated all costs including usage rights, contracts and releases to respect budgetal restraints. Provided complete production processing, including preproduction, photo schedule management, overseeing of set construction and ensuring digital file workflow and delivery of assets to agency.
